Mass of Christian Burial for Philip Ernesti, age 52 of Gretna, NE will be on Monday, July 8, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Gretna with Fr. Matt Gutowski as celebrant.   Visitation will be Sunday, July 7, 2019, from 3:00 to 5:00 at Roeder Mortuary, Gretna, NE. Interment will be July 13, 2019 at 10:30 AM in St. Michael’s Cemetery, West Point, NE.  Philip passed away on July 2, 2019 at his home in Gretna.  Memorials are suggested to Food Bank of the Heartland or charity of choice.

Philip J. Ernesti was born on September 5, 1966 in West Point, NE to Ambrose and Kathleen (Miller) Ernesti.  Philip graduated from West Point Central Catholic High School in 1984. Following high school, he was employed as a Business Analyst at Nelnet Business Solutions in Denver CO and Lincoln, NE; as a Systems Analyst at National Research Corporation in Lincoln, NE and as Project Lead at First Data in Omaha.

Survivors include sisters Peggy (Cliff) Walker of Cozad, NE, Linda (Jim) Bender of Papillion, NE, Susan (Randy) Ratliff of Lincoln, NE, Sandy Blank of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Sarah (Steve) Rief of Bancroft, NE and brother Jeff Ernesti of West Point, NE as well as 18 nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Philip was preceded in death by his parents, Ambrose and Kathleen Ernesti of West Point, NE, brother Glenn Ernesti and spouse Patty Ernesti of West Point, NE and brother-in-law Steve Blank of Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Doris Jean Williams

Born January 14, 1954 in Fairfield, Alabama.  In 1965, she moved to Omaha, Nebraska with her mother and siblings.  She attended high school at Omaha North and graduated in 1972.  Doris was a hard worker with great work ethics.  She often held down two jobs to provide for her daughters, Kelly and Kim.  She worked in Authorizations at First Data Resources for over 27 years.  Doris retired in 2007.  She was a proud grandmother and nothing pleased her more than being amongst her grandchildren.  Doris (also affectionately known as D.J.) was fun-loving, had a great sense of humor, loved to cook, SHOP, spend time with her family and loved trying new things…. especially new recipes!  You could always find her dancing and singing somewhere with a smile on her face.  Doris was a quiet spirit, but most importantly, she had a big heart, always thinking of others. Doris was preceded in death by her father, Herman Williams of Pensacola, Florida and brother; Barry Williams.  She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother; Viola Jackson, sister; Patricia Ann Wright, brothers; Lavaughn Williams and Alvin Johnson, daughters; Kelly Williams and Kimberly Milliner (LeWade Milliner, Sr.), grandchildren; Jasmin Pearson and LeWade Milliner, Jr., niece; Chrystal Wright, great-niece; Tajah Davis, great-nephew; Robert Wright III, great-great- nephew; Silas Wright and a host of other relatives and friends. Age 90 of Carter Lake, Iowa passed away June 22nd. Harold was born October 21, 1928 in Rae Valley, Arkansas to Joe and Bertha (Baker) Beavers.
