Preceded in death by husband Larry Eggers, son Colton Boyd, parents Ralph and Jean Ipock, siblings David Ipock, Kent Ipock, Billie Medley, and Kevin Ipock.

Sherri was born in Weeping Water, NE, grew up in Louisville, NE, and graduated from Papillion-La Vista High School. She worked full-time all while raising 3 children while living in Papillion, NE. Sherri moved to Gretna, NE where she met and married Larry Eggers. Sherri had a lifelong passion for horses and loved barrel racing when she was young. Her granddaughter, Harlee, has carried on this passion and it brought so much joy in her life.

Sherri lived a wholesome life and was dedicated to her family and friends. She loved her children with her whole heart. Her world revolved around her grandchildren and family. She always looked forward to barrel races, sporting events, school activities, dance recitals, and birthdays.  Sherri was an integral part of real estate and the home building industry for the last 46 years.  She worked side-by-side with her son’s Clinton and Clayton building new homes in our community.

Sherri will always be known for taking care of everyone who needed her and making them a priority over anything else.  She always had a smile on her face and carried a positive outlook on life, even after experiencing the loss of several loved ones, battling and beating cancer, and receiving her diagnosis of Pulmonary Fibrosis.  She didn’t let anything stop her from doing what she wanted and what she loved.  Sherri never let the obstacles get her down and she continued to inspire others with her positive attitude.

Sherri was not ready to let this disease defeat her. Her goal was to be eligible for a lung transplant. Her first step was to get her knee replaced. The following step was a trip to Mayo Clinic which she had scheduled. Unfortunately, her time was shortened on this Earth due to complications with her knee surgery. She wanted nothing more than to keep living for her family, and she did until the very end.

She always believed in her Savior and knew her destination was already determined and would be rejoiced in Heaven with the Lord and her family. God Bless Sherri and everyone who knew her.
