 Ruth A. Davis, born on December 7, 1942 in Dyess, AR to Raymond M. Lee and Nola Mae Swaffar, passed away on August 2, 2022.

 Ruth and Mel initially settled in LaVista, NE raising their children and then eventually moved to Gretna, NE, making it their home since 1984. She had a passion for flowers, cardinals, cats and furry/feathery animals of all kind. She spent countless hours beading jewelry, working puzzles and playing Words with Friends online. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother and made fast friends with anyone she met. She smiled, laughed and loved her way through life. She gave all she had to offer and asked for nothing but your time with her and will be dearly missed.

 Ruth was preceded by death by her late husband, Isaac M. Davis, married on June 29, 1956. She is survived by their Children: Randy Davis (Dawn), Carolyn Emerson (Jim), Darrell Davis (Lynn), Les Davis and Peggy Dively (Jeff); 16 Grandchildren; 23 Great Grandchildren; one Great-great Grandchild; her Sister: Nelda Smith and half-Brothers: Clint Lee and Ray Lee.
