Lillian was born July 10, 1942 to George and Pauline (Washington) Grixby in Omaha, Nebraska. She departed this life on August 29, 2020 in Omaha, Nebraska.
Lillian attended school in Omaha, Nebraska at St. Benedicts and graduated from Omaha Technical High School.
She soon married the love of her life Jasper Johnson who preceded her in death. Through this union there were 5 Children.
Lillian worked at Lozier’s for 35 years and was a foster Mother for 15 years. She enjoyed church at Holy Name and Mt. Vernon also spending time with family cooking, baking and feeding family and friends.
Lillian is preceded in death by her husband; Jasper Johnson, Parents; George and Pauline Grixby, Daughter; Kimberly Johnson, Sister; Judy McCullough, Brother’s; George Grixby, Jr. and William (Billy) Grixby.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Son’s; Michael, Gregory and Douglas (Denita) Johnson, Daughter; Janelle Johnson, Grandchildren; Tyree Johnson, Necia Cooperwood, Dejah Johnson, Dae Johnson, Tykeisha Johnson, Great-Grandchildren; Tyson Johnson, Taeter Johnson and Kyrin Haynes, Brother-in-law; Anthony Johnson, Devoted Friend; Lillian Williams and many other loved family and friends.
Funeral Service: 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 9th Roeder Mortuary, 4932 Ames Ave. with Visitation from 10 to 11:00 A.M. Private family inurnment.
