John Stanley Krause was born on January 18^th, 1952 in Omaha, NE to Lloyd S. and Verna L. Krause. He was the middle child in the family with older sister Susan and younger sister Sheryl. He grew up in North Omaha and attended Omaha North High School. After graduation he served in the US Navy. Once he finished his military service, John spent 30+ years in transportation services for multiple railroads. During his retirement years, John spent most of his time doing the things he loved: spoiling everyone around him, laying by the pool, and making noise in more ways than one (4^th of July has always been his favorite holiday). John was preceded in death by many family members. He is survived by sisters: Sheryl (Richard), Susan (Gary); children: Jonathan (Jennifer), Jeffrey (Jessica), and Katie; one grandchild: Kollyns; niece: Stefanie (Adam); two nephews: Gregory (Carla) and Bryan; and many loving friends.
