Garry Thorpe

April 4, 1947 – September 9, 2021

Garry Thorpe fought a long hard health battle over the past year but was able to spend his final days of life in the comfort of his own home surrounded by friends and family, which was a true blessing. Garry was preceded in death by parents, Milton and Wanda and his twin brother Larry. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara; his four daughters: Caroline (Miguel Santos), Rachel (Winston Warman), Allison (Marc Willis) and Emily; his 9 grandchildren: Eric, Thomas, Elaina, Ethan, Gabriela, Christian, Isabella, Jordan, and Kaden; his brothers: Randy and Craig (Diane); as well as many other relatives and friends.

GATHERING OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS Tuesday, September 14^th, 6:00 – 7:00 PM with MEMORIAL SERVICE at 7:00pm at Roeder Mortuary, 2727 N. 108th St. INTERMENT SERVICE Wednesday, September 15th at 11:00am at Omaha National Cemetery. Luncheon to follow at Saint Elizabeth Ann Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to Lauritzen Gardens, as this was one of Garry and Barbara’s favorite places to visit.
