Eugene McDonald was born in Blair on July 20^th, 1927. He graduated from Benson High School. He then proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. Residing in California, he managed a major grocery chain. Returning to Omaha in 1992, he met Arline, his life-long companion of 30 years. He enjoyed traveling, golf, and a good conversation about cars. At 79, he would play a round of golf with his son and 2 grandsons, then tease them because he won. Residing in Montclair, he met many great friends and he loved them dearly. He loved people and he loved life. He will be missed by many.
