Omaha – Sonja L. Rawlings, passed away on July 19, 2022. She is survived by children Tammy Stevens, Tracy (Dan) Hawkes, Lesli Rawlings, and Sydni (Fred) Dexter; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren, several cousins, nieces, and nephews and preceded in death by husband James Rawlings, sister Pamela Rosas, and son-in-law Ken Stevens. Sonja was born in Omaha, NE on June 28, 1947 to Ralph and Winona Bergren. She enjoyed helping others. Sonja served Miller Park/Minne Lusa neighborhood as Girl Scout leader, PTA, and citizen patrol. For several years she was assistant secretary at Minne Lusa Elementary and then a rehab trainer at QLI. Her faith in the Lord was an inspiration to many.

Visitation Sunday 3-5PM at Roeder Mortuary. Funeral Service 10:00 AM (7/25/21) at Roeder Mortuary. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery and Celebration of Life immediately following at Nite Hawkes Café 4825 N. 16th ST. Memorials to be sent to Florence Christian Church and Deaf Mission.
