Ruby L. Thornton Freeman, 1/18/1939 to May 21, 2021. Preceded in death by parents, George Thornton and Isabel Moorehead. Survived by children, John Joseph Jr., Ronnie Joseph, Anthony Faulkner, Jeffrey Faulkner, and Cassandra Faulkner, sisters, Doris Thornton, and Shirley Martin, brother, James Earl Thornton, 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and an abundance of friends.
Ruby fell ill recently, and unexpectedly passed away May 21, 2021. Visitation: 10 to 11 am with Funeral service at 11 am, Thursday, May 27th Roeder Mortuary, 4932 Ames Ave. Entombment at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Celebration of life will be held afterward at the Elks Lodge.
