Rozella “Rose” M. Sesemann
Rozella (Rose) Havenridge Sesemann was born January 3, 1936 in Omaha, NE. She graduated from North High School. In 1958 she married Charles Sesemann. After working several years at Mutual of Omaha, she and Charley opened Charley’s Speed and Machine in 1967. Acknowledging a long and successful business, they were inducted into the Nebraska Auto Racing Hall of Fame.
Rose was well versed in auto parts as well as her sewing and needlework. Her handwork is painstakingly perfect. Rose had a smile for everyone, and made friends everywhere she went. She cherished her family and friends and would share stories of the beloved grandchildren often.
She is survived by sons, Kevin, Todd (Dee), Scott (DeeDee), Mark (Julie). Grandchildren Shelby (Josh), Renae (Justin), Alex, Maggie, and Jordan. Sister Monzella (Jim) McElwain, brothers Walt, Jim (Myra) Havenridge, brother-in-law Al (Carol) Sesemann, and special friend Norman Curley. Rose was preceded in death by her husband Charley.
Visitation Thursday 5:00- 7:00 PM at Roeder Mortuary, 2727 N. 108th St. Funeral Service 1:00 PM Friday(5/27/2022) at Roeder Mortuary. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorials to St. Jude Hospital or Make A Wish Foundation.
