Rick Joe Leinbaugh, 56, passed away April 5^th, 2020.  Rick was preceded in death by his father, Larry and brother, Randy.  Rick is survived by his wife, Shari and sons, Zachary (fiance’ Sydny Harris) and Parker of Omaha, NE, daughter Ashley Leinbaugh Bantz (Ryan) and two grandchildren (Nora and Marlow) of Minnesota, brother Mike Leinbaugh of Odebolt, Iowa and his Mother Roann Leinbaugh of Omaha, NE. Rick is also survived by Mother-In-Law Judy Meyer of Harlan, Iowa, Father-In-Law John Meyer of Harlan, Iowa, Sisters-In-Law Pam Meyer of Denison, Iowa, Julie (Larry) Thompson of Denison, Iowa, Sheila (Jim) Hansen of Harlan, Iowa and many nieces and nephews.    

Rick was born in Sioux City, Iowa on July 23, 1963.  Lived in Dennison, Iowa for majority of his childhood and moved to Odebolt, Iowa when he was a senior in high school.  Rick played football in high school and continued his football career at Iowa State.

Rick was a salesman for Duke Equipment for many years and loved his co-workers and customers.  He was an avid golfer and loved to watch any type of sports, especially the Kansas City Chiefs and Nascar.  On a warm sunny day Rick loved to ride his Harley with friends and loved his Sunday family dinners.  Rick loved spending time with family and friends enjoying vacations, special events and cookouts.

The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date/time due to the pandemic.
