Reginald Vonzell Taylor, Sr.

Reginald Vonzell Taylor was born on February 4, 1965 to Joyce M. Taylor and Horace C. Taylor in Omaha Ne. Reginald (Reggie) is proceeded in death by his father Horace C. Taylor and survived by his mother; Joyce M. Taylor.

Reggie attended Minne Lusa Elementary School, McMillian Jr. High and graduated from South High School where he played multiple sports. Reggie loved spending time with family and everyone was his friend. He’ll say “that’s my friend you know his name”, we’ll say “no we don’t”.

Reggie loved watching sports, dancing and singing. Always stealing the spot light at family gatherings with his favorite saying “if you don’t know now you know”, “Woodie woot woot”. Reggie loved walking, helping anybody that he could. Reggie always found a way to make you laugh even if you were upset.

Reggie leaves to cherish his memory his mother; Joyce Taylor, sisters; Terrie Malik and Cynthia Taylor of Omaha, Ne., and brother; Michael C. Taylor of Omaha, Ne., children; John and LaTicia Pargo, Tina Crawford, Trivia, Erica, Reginald, Devon Rashad and Chelsea Harrell all of Omaha, Ne. The love of his life Sylvia Harrell, 35 grandchildren, 6 nieces, 5 nephews and a host of great-nieces and nephews, 3 uncles all of Tyler, TX. who he loved dearly.

Special thanks to a special niece, his best friend who was there for him thru thick and thin, that never left his side, Kimberly Taylor. Uncle Reggie loves you and appreciated all that you did for him.

Visitation: Friday, December 4th from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M at Fort Street Church of Christ, 5922 Fort Street with the Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M.

Interment: Forest Lawn Cemetery.
