Phyllis Natalee Roan gained her angel wings on November 16th, 2021 at her home in Omaha, Nebraska. Phyllis was 79 years old.

Phyllis’s life was devoted to her family. She was the magnet that gathered everyone together for family occasions and holidays and her happiest moments were when she was surrounded by those she loved. Phyllis is preceded by her mother Blanche Hall, her father Abe (Al) Kaplan, and her step-mother Roberta Kaplan. Phyllis is survived by her loving hubby Robert (Jack) Roan, her three step-brothers Less Long, Tom Long, Bob Long and his wife Judy, her four children Steve Lincoln, Deb Simon and her husband Tom, Tracy Lincoln and his wife Laura, Michell Blodgett and her significant other Jason Wilburn, her eleven grandchildren, Matthew Colter and his wife Tiffany, Emily Lincoln, Anthony Lincoln, Bailey Simon, Ceela Blodgett, Joey Simon, Tim Lincoln, Nate Simon, Zane Blodgett, Ryan Lincoln, and James Lincoln, and her four great-grandchildren Gemma Jones, Chloe Thayer, Austin Thayer, and Cedric Colter.

Phyllis was born in Omaha, Nebraska August 22, 1942, with a bright and spunky spirit! Phyllis was a remarkable, loving, resilient, kind, and classy woman. She had a big personality wrapped up in a spicy little package. A special lady whose matter-of-factness mixed with respect and love for all left an impression on everyone that crossed her path. As the self-designated “worry-wart” of the family, Phyllis made sure to check in on each of us or pass along her love and prayers for us through all of the ups and downs. We may not have always taken her advice (which she never hesitated to give), but we were always grateful for it! Phyllis, there are no words to describe the loss we feel today, but knowing that you are busy getting your final forever home ready for us (little knick-knacks and all), we can’t help but smile. Love Always!
