MSgt John Thomas, Jr. (Ret.)

November 10, 1934 ~ September 20, 2022

John is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Lenesday and Robert, sister, Mary Alyce Zeigler, and grandson; Antwain King.

He leaves to cherish his loving wife of 66 years, Mary Thomas, sons: Ernest, John (Vicki), Brian of Omaha, NE; daughters: Yulondia (Albert) Pettigrew of Bellevue, NE, Sharon and Alecia of Omaha, brothers; Melvin of Chicago, IL, Samuel of Atlanta, GA; sister; Delores Jackson of Las Vegas, NV. In addition, he leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and several nieces, nephews and many other loving relatives.

Services will be held September 30, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church 5555 Larimore Ave in Omaha with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial at Forest Lawn following services.
