Omaha – John passed away peacefully at home surrounded with his family; after bravely battling cancer. He was born in Omaha, the son of Clement and Mary Dougherty. Survived by siblings Leo, Michael, Patricia, Thomas, James (Denise), Dorothy (Merwyn) Ludwig, many family and friends. Preceded in death by parents Clement and Mary, siblings Donald, Charles, Mary Cirian, Joan Risley.     

Visitation Thursday 5-7 PM at Roeder Mortuary. Funeral Service Friday (7/12/19) 11:00 AM at Roeder Mortuary 2727 N 108th Street Omaha, NE. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Memorials to St. Jude Hospital.
