John L. Moore

John L. Moore was born in Oakland Mississippi on September 29,1948 to Clemon Moore & Corrie Bland Moore.

He peacefully passed away with his family & friends by his side on December 3, 2020.

John confessed a hope in Christ at an early age. He was baptized & joined Parrish Grove MB church where he was a member until he moved to Omaha, NE. After moving to Omaha, John worked at Allied truck tire & Oil supply company for 35 years until he retired.

John is proceeded in death by his sons Leslie & Rodney. Both of his parents & 7 brothers. Melvin, Clemon Jr, Charles W, George, Herbert, Richard Lee & his twin brother James. John is also proceeded in death by 1 sister, Annie Smith.

John leaves to cherish his memories, 3 brothers. James V Moore, Marcell Moore, Iscie Jones, & 1 sister, Cealia M. Neal. He also leaves to cherish his memories, life partner, Mary Cain, 2 sons, Elias Cain & Tyrell Jefferson. 4 daughters, Tiffany Moore, Tina Cain, Alicia Cain & Claretha Rideout. 14 grandkids, 2 great grandkids & a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends. He will be dearly missed by many.

Visitation: Tuesday (12/15/2020) Noon – 1:00 PM at mortuary.

Funeral Service: Tuesday (12/15/2020) at 1 PM at Roeder Mortuary – Ames Chapel.
