Janet attended Dana College, graduating in 1970 and began her career as a teacher with OPS. She received her Master’s Degree in 1976.  Her elementary teaching career was at Harrison and Belvedere Elementary Schools.

After retirement Janet and Ed traveled extensively overseas and in the US.  They always found time to take the grandchildren on trips, be there for their sporting events and to play a game of cards.
