4/22/1958 – 6/12/2019

Christine Kay Morgan, 61, became one of God’s angels, and entered into eternal life on June 12th, 2019. Christine was born on April 22nd, 1958 in Oskaloosa, Iowa to W.G. Randolph and Connie Mae Randolph (Gorden). She received a degree in nursing from Coosa Valley Technical School in Georgia. She later continued her education at Grandview University in Des Moines, Iowa and pursued a career in nursing as an LPN, at Mercy Medical Center in the ICU. She continued her career at other local private practices and nursing homes, as a contract nurse.

Christine met her husband, Joseph Morgan, during the Des Moines, Iowa floods of 1993, and they were married soon after. The couple just recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary, in March of this year. In 1994, the couple was over joyed in welcoming their only daughter, Katelyn E. Morgan, into the world. The family resided in Waukee, Iowa for the majority of their life. Christine had later retired from nursing, and was dedicated with being a homemaker and caring for her daughter and family. After Katelyn’s graduation in 2013, the couple moved to Cocoa Beach, Florida where Christine was able to spend memorable quality time with her parents, who reside in Port St. John, Florida.

Christine was a Christian, and very spiritual, with strong faith. Christine loved all animals, gardening, music, and travel. She especially loved the holidays spent with family, and her comfort food was second to none. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and laughter. Christine always offered a helping hand to anyone in need. She loved her family more than anything, and she will be dearly missed by all of those whose lives that she so deeply touched.

She is survived by her loving husband and daughter, her brother, her parents, and several nieces.

A private graveside prayer service will be held in Jerome, Iowa on Monday.
