Omaha – Gary Richard Flores, 66, passed away peacefully on April 7th with his family by his side.  Gary was preceded in death by mom Irene. He is survived by wife Marilyn, daughters Lisa (John III) McCann, Sarah (James) Frederick, Katy (Tyler) Nath, 10 grandchildren Laura, Ashli, Grace, Christopher, John IV, Isabella, Macy, Randall, Arlo, and Lennon, sister Ellen Campbell, and countless family and friends.

Gary loved fishing, bowling, poker, golf, and singing karaoke with his family.  His laugh and smile could light up any room.

Agnes M. Stigge

Gretna – Agnes M. (Elbracht) Stigge:  August 23, 1928 – April 5, 2022

Preceded in death by husband, Gustav Stigge; granddaughter, Laurie Brummett and great grandson, Wyatt Crook; sister and brother-in-law, Marge and Ralph Glodowski; sister, Pat Maxwell; sister and brother-in-law, Theresa and Norbert Tacner; brother, Joe Elbracht; infant sister, Mary; in-laws Mel and Dorothy Vitek, Walden Stigge, Marilyn Pospishil and Leonard Klitz.

Survived by children, Susan Brammann, Sandra Steele (Ray), Steven (Mary), Thomas, Jeffery, Kristen May (Joseph), Mark (Judy), Ann Dukat (Monte), 18 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter on the way; sister, Kay Lavigne; in-laws, Betty Elbracht, Bob Maxwell, Jeanine Klitz, Rod (Kay) Stigge and Pat Stigge.

Agnes was born in Howells, NE to Conrad and Anna Elbracht where she attended school through 8th grade after which she stayed on the family farm to help with the farming.  She met her husband, Gus at a local ballroom dance and was married on January 15, 1952. She worked at Methodist in food service for 22 years, retiring as the Food Production Supervisor. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Her other hobbies besides gardening included reading, jigsaw puzzles and quilting (especially from her children’s old jeans).  She loved baking cookies and making jellies for her children and grandchildren at Christmas.  Christmas Eve was always at Grandma’s house until there were too many of us to fit in her house. She spent the last 11 years at Silver Ridge in Gretna where she loved to tell stories of growing up on the farm near Howells, NE.

She will be missed by many.
