Robbin C. Anders

1966 – 2020

Robbin Cory Anders, was born August 13, 1966 and died on March 21, 2020.

He lives to mourn his death parents; James (Dr.Esia) Anders of Little Rock, Ar. Sons: Cory R. Anders, Clayton D. Anders, Kemari Shinall and Maurice Shinall, daughter; Ayesha Shinall, grandchildren; Malaki Stark, Clayton Jr, Joslyn Simpson, Tai’an Williams, Serenity Williams, Davieian Williams and Cane Warrick all of Lincoln, Ne. sister; Jami (Jeff) Omaha Ne., brother; Mark Wills Indianapolis In. also left to mourn his home-going is a host of special friends and other family members.

Robbin self- taught and overcoming many obstacles, Robbin became a business owner, managing numerous properties and spent over 30 years a professional in the construction industry. He earned his Masters Carpenter Certification and taught construction classes within the industry. During his career he worked on many larger construction projects throughout the United States, taking pride in his work and achievements. As an intellectual person and visionary, Robbin experienced and viewed life as exciting with big dreams and ambitions that he worked toward achieving. He had a big heart and worked to become a better example of himself and in his interactions with others. He loved his children and grandchildren and often wanted to be more involved and influential in their growth.

A special thanks to everyone who assisted or were at the bedside of Robbin during several hospitalizations and staff of UNMC/Clarkson Hospital for their professional and compassionate care and Roeder Mortuary for their professional services.

The extended Anders family wants to thank everyone for their love and assistance during this time of bereavement.

Robbin has been cremated and no services at this time.

Nancy Yates Clatterbuck

Born:  Huntington, WV January 7, 1920 Died:  Omaha, NE  April 2, 2020   Age 100

Nancy was preceded in death by Harold, her husband of 60 years, and her beloved son, John.  She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Nancy Ann and Kenneth Meyer, of Waukesha, WI; daughter-in-law Diane Wilmes (Mike); grandchildren Anne Meyer, Kendra Axness (Brian), Heather Meyer-Boothby (Nick); Brad Clatterbuck (Dalila) and Shane Clatterbuck (Nicole); twelve great-grandchildren, and many dear nieces, nephews and friends.

Nancy retired in 1982 as an executive secretary for Hormel Foods.  During WWII, Nancy worked at the Veterans Adm. in D.C., and later was secretary to the White House Press Photographer for the Saturday Evening Post, Ollie Adkins.  Nancy and Harold moved to Omaha in 1951.

Nancy was a 65-year member of the First Baptist Church, Omaha, the Bennington American Legion Auxiliary Post 266, and the Tangier Shrine Auxiliary.

Due to the current sheltering requirements, there will only be a private graveside service at Evergreen Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, Nancy has requested that any memorials be directed to First Baptist Church, Omaha, or Sienna Francis House, Omaha.

Margaret M. Wood

9/4/1925 – 3/29/2020

Age 94 – Preceded in death by husband of 60 years, Lloyd “Woody” Wood; parents, Roy & Goldia Sheumaker; 3 brothers and 5 sisters. Survived by son, Warren (Katherine) Wood; daughter, Julie (Bruce) Nohrenberg; grandchildren: Aaron, April, Kaitlyn, Ryan and Jacob; brother, John (Sharon) Sheumaker of Des Moines, IA; sister-in-law, LaVon Sheumaker of Kansas City, MO and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Verlene R. Marshall

Verlene R. Marshall was born on February 6, 1942 to Robert and Grace Marshall in Wybark, Oklahoma. Verlene was united with Union Grove Church at an early age.  She attended Wybark grade school and graduated from Manuel Training High School in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Verlene moved to Omaha, Nebraska shortly after graduation.  She worked for Ceta and City of Omaha job training until her retirement. She is survived by sons; Alan, Ricky, Kevin and Michael Marshall, sister; Estelle Dawson, 5-grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

John E. Carter

John E. Carter, 80, passed away peacefully on March 20th. John is survived by his sister; Carolyn Blum Maack of Omaha, nephews; Michael (Rosemary) Blum of Lawrence, KS, Scott Blum of White Sulphur Springs, MT and Steve (Debbie) Blum, Orono, MN, nieces; Shelley (Mark) Ulch of Sherwood, OH, Susan Schlemmer (Paul) of New York City, as well as many loved great nieces and great nephews.  John loved his family, travel and public service.  He was very dedicated to numerous Florence are volunteer activities.  A private family gathering is planned.  Memorials may be directed to the Omaha Home for Boys.
