Billy Eugene Claborn Sr., 86, of Omaha, NE passed away at home on Friday, February 4, 2022.

Bill was born in Blair, NE. Bill owned and operated Jackson Home Appliance for 49 years. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion, a member of St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, and an avid Little League coach.

Bill was a caring husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend. He had a contagious smile, quick wit, loved life, loved people, and he will truly be missed.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years: Georgia Ann (Petersen). He is also survived by sister: Elouise Green; brother-in-law: Kenny (Ali) Petersen; sons: Billy Jr. (Jenny), Jeff (Jenny), and Jon (Angela); and several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Levi and Nancy Jane (Ashinhurst) Claborn; brothers: Eldred, Elmer, Lee, and Bob; sisters: Betty (Petersen), Shirley (Avilla); brother-in-law: Wayne (Petersen); and granddaughter: Sara.
