Barbara Ann Lopez (Gruhn – Peters) was born March 30, 1958 in Los Angeles, California. She was welcomed into heaven by her Parents; Maria Trevino and Peter Lopez on June 10, 2020.  She is survived by her Siblings; Peter Jr, Nania and Anita, Children; Michael, Charity, Shannon, Barbara (deceased) and Mary, Grandchildren; Shawn, Ashby, Dawson, Kraig, Leo, Shay, Angie, Xavier, Lilyanna, Lilalue, Jeremiah, Anthony, Dannyelle, and Mario Jr., Great Grandchildren; Iris and Luca, Nieces and Nephews; Peter, Robert, Alex, Ricky, Bull, Tina, Andrea, Ivonne, Monica, and Domingo.

She lived in Oceanside, California until 1996 when she came to Omaha, Nebraska. Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, nurse, and homemaker. She enjoyed traveling, outdoors, swimming, fishing, gardening, antiquing, and knitting. Barbara loved her family dinners and one of her favorite foods was watermelon. She could eat watermelons till the cows come home. She was a very giving person who would help anyone in need even an animal. Barbara made friends wherever she went and all people loved her as she had the soul of an angel. She was a true Cali girl who loved her Oldies but Goodies music and she will be truly missed by all.

Celebration of Barbara’s life will be Saturday, June 13^th 2:00 P.M. at Roeder Mortuary, 4932 Ames Ave.
