Arthur Lyle

5/26/1941 – 11/23/2020

Arthur (Buck) Lyle, age 79 was called home peacefully to be with His Heavenly Father on November 23, 2020 at 3:45 PM.

Arthur was born in Elaine, Arkansas to Corstella Lee and Willie Lyle. At an early age, Arthur learned the importance of hard work and searched for better opportunities that would later benefit his own family. On June 28, 1959, he married the love of his life and best friend, Marva. Together they relocated their family to Omaha, NE in 1962.

God blessed Arthur with the spirit of generosity; he would sacrifice his own needs to give to others; he would give you the shirt off of his back; he gave from the heart and looked for nothing in return.

Arthur had an infectious laughter and a mild manner personality, he was known to touch many lives where ever he traveled. He was a loving, caring family man. He loved to share his wisdom while offering some great advice. He often told jokes to brighten up any mood.

Arthur accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.

Throughout his lifetime, Arthur had several nicknames: Wild Bill, Buck and Bronking Bull. However, Buck stuck with him for the remainder of his life. He was also a member of The Ebony Wheels Motorcycle Club and was loved and respected in the community.

Arthur had a love for life and he put up a great fight. I love you Daddy and you will be truly missed.

Arthur leaves to cherish his loving memories his children: Arthur Lyle Jr., Grand Island, NE, Carl Lyle, Omaha, NE, Shirley Johnson (Larry Grant), Pensacola, FL, Arthur and Shirley Harris, Omaha, NE, 20 grandchildren: Daniel Lyle, Carrell Hunter, Arthur (Meco) Lyle III, Travis Reese, Andrew Lyle, Brandon Lyle, Shaunice Lyle, Tyrina Lyle, Tyrell Lyle, Deon Lyle, Noah Lyle, Whitney Carter, Adrian Kellogg II, Aje Adams, Amir Brown, Aubree Adams, Asher McDaniel, Amaree Harris, Ariya Miles, TyRyan Harris, 29 great grandchildren, best friend of over 65 years, Otis (Velma) Walker, special friend, Martha Houston and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
