Bette Lynn Kvetensky

Bette Lynn Bressler was the last of seven children born to Myrtle Victoria Borg Bressler and Lindley John Bressler on April 18, 1943 in Wakefield, Nebraska. Siblings included Mary Helen Little (Joe), Merlin Bressler (Helen), Inez Dobbs (Gene), Joy Iverson (Dick), Harold Bressler (Kathy), and Tom Bressler (Evelyn). Bette was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and nurse. She passed July 21, 2021 at the age of 78. Bette grew up on the family farm outside of Wakefield, Nebraska and attended a K-8 one room schoolhouse graduating from Wakefield High School in 1961. She attended Methodist School of Nursing 1961 – 1964 and received her RN degree. She graduated with her BSN degree from UNO in 1970. She worked as a nurse at the Omaha VA Hospital for 35 years. Bette married Jim Kvetensky in Omaha in 1966. They had two children Christopher and Joee Lynn. Bette loved supporting her children in all their activities and sports. She also enjoyed singing, cooking, baking, knitting, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren.

Funeral Service Tuesday 1:00PM at Roeder Mortuary.
